Feliz Navidad with General Mills

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, the time where families are gathering and delicious meals are being shared around the table. I love this time of year! I love the chill in the air, and I love the traditions that surround the holiday season. We have so many traditions in my family, some include special meals cooked, others include a particular game we all gather to play. Each tradition is as sentimental as the next. My fiancé and I have just moved into our new home and we are delighted to start decorating for Christmas and to start celebrating our family traditions at our new home.
I have just set out our Poinsettia Christmas plates and have added wreaths to our dining room chairs. No table would be complete without something yummy to snack on before take out arrives. Keep reading to see how I have created 3 easy and delicious snacks with Lucky Charms™, Kozy Shack® Tapioca Pudding, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ churros!
Plus right now, buy $10 of ANY Big G cereals and get on 22oz. snack tub of Kozy Shack Original Rice or Tapioca Pudding for FREE! We love shopping in our neighborhood H-E-B! We are big fans of their curbside pick up. Get more info and grab the coupon HERE.
Growing up Catholic in San Antonio, TX and having a wonderful Hispanic family, we were introduced to the tradition of Las Posadas. Las Posadas is a fun celebration that commemorates the journey Mary and Joseph took to find a room to sleep in, which is also the same night Mary gave birth to Jesus.
Las Posadas is usually an event that lasts multiple days, starting on December 16th until Christmas Eve. The ones I have participated in happen all in one night, but include us traveling to different houses (although, this year it will likely look a little different!). At each house, we either pray, sing, or eat. Sometimes a combination of all 3. Las Posadas are a special way to connect to the true meaning of Christmas- the birth of the baby Jesus. My grandmother taught me 2 very important things growing up; to love Jesus, and to love Mexican food, and Las Posadas is a wonderful combination of both of those! I love how vibrant and festive my Hispanic culture celebrates the Christmas season. I would love to hear if you have celebrated Las Posadas, or what your favorite Christmas tradition is.

Snack 2:
Items Needed
Honey
Kozy Shack® Tapioca Pudding
Lucky Charms™
Cup
2 paper plates
On one paper plate our honey, pour honey for about 5 -8 seconds
On the other plate, pour Lucky Charms™
Grab your cup and turn it upside down. Place your cup rim in the honey and move it around to make sure you get honey inside and outside of the cup rim.
Then put the honey rim on the plate with cereal. The honey should act like a “glue” to the cereal and allow it to stick. You may need to individually place the cereal on the honey rim as well.
Put the glass in the refrigerator to let the honey cool.
Then add the Kozy Shack® Tapioca Pudding inside the glass and enjoy!
I was able to add all of these deciduous ingredients to my H-E-B curbside order. H-E-B makes it so easy to shop, both virtually and in person. While I was there I also picked up some beautiful poinsettias for my table. Click HERE for a coupon to recreate any of these treats! The holidays may be a difficult time due to the loss of loved ones, or not being able to come home and celebrate. Wherever you may be, however you may be celebrating, I am wishing you a very safe and happy holiday season.
