Fall Tablescape

The cooler temperatures have me wanting to add darker colors to my table! Instead of going full on Halloween or Thanksgiving, I wanted to create a fall table. Insert my brown Woodland Spode china. Anyone who knows me, knows I love to mix vintage elements into my decorating. This table was no exception. I was able to find these cute faux pumpkins from Hobby Lobby, and I put them in a vintage champagne bucket. I used this for my centerpiece. My favorite vintage item to decorate/have is a vintage champagne bucket, hands down! If you’re new around here, I just collected my 20th bucket. No, I am not hoarding them (ok maybe I am). I have been collecting them for our wedding. I love them so much, that I wanted them to hold our centerpiece floral arrangements. Which is why I needed, and now own 20.

For this table I knew I wanted to use the Hobby Lobby pumpkins because they match my Foxcroft dress PERFECTLY! In this table, I wanted to use my Spode Woodland china, but I also wanted to have some feminine touched. This is where the blush vintage dinner napkins come in. Wait until you see the vintage napkins rings I scored for $6 last month. I’m still swooning over them, and I am going to be on the look out for more! Fun facts, I also collect vintage dinner napkins and vintage napkins rings.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the blush dinner napkins paired with the china. I always forget that pink and brown pair well together. If you are a looking for a china pattern that is not too feminine, I think the Spode Woodland china pattern is for you!

Now that my table is set, lets chat about THE perfect fall dress! Ever since I discovered Foxcroft, they have become one of my go to brands. This dress is called the Melbourne Non-Iron Wrap Dress, and if it looks familiar that is because I have it in blue. When I saw that Foxcroft released the dress in black and white, I knew it would be perfect for fall! I choose this dress because it matched my pumpkins, and because of the sash at the waist. The dress is flattering, the fabric stretches, and I do not feel like the buttons are pulling at each other when I sit. I also love that this dress comes in regular, and plus sizes!

I think the next time I wear this dress, I will tie the sash as a bow.
