New Braunfels Fall Mahjong League

Welcome to New Braunfels’ First Mahjong League—Presented by Troop Mahjong!

Let’s make mahj history together! 

This fall, we’re bringing the magic of Troop Mahjong to New Braunfels with our first official league—hosted at the stunning John Newcombe Country Club. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, this 6-week series is your chance to connect, compete, and celebrate the joy of American Mahjong. This is a social league and all about having fun and wining prizes!!!

What does Social League mean?

• You use 10 jokers 
• Can use blanks if your table wants
• You can play Towers and or play Messy if your table wants!
• We will keep score and will have 1 big winner at the end of the league!
• Every mahjong earns you a ticket for raffle prizes!
• Each week players will play 3 games 

• * I am aware these are not the NMJL rules, so if you’re looking for a league that is strict and plays by NMJL rules, you might not thrive in this league. 
  
  
• *Since everyone is playing for points/scoring no line or strategy assistance will be offered by the Troop Mahjong team.
