Troop Mahjong and Mahj for Mag House

Troop Mahjong is excited to announce a partnership with Magdalena House for Mahj for Mag House happening on March 6, 2025, at Ivy Hall!

Magdalena House, a wonderful non-profit doing amazing work in San Antonio, TX, is a neighborhood of transitional homes that serves mothers and their children who have fled dangerous and abusive lives. Utilizing a dual-generation approach, they provide safe shelter, basic needs, educational programming, and therapeutic services. 

Mahj for Mag House will be an incredible evening of open play mahjong suitable for curious beginners to Mahjong pros! The beautiful outdoor backdrop of Ivy Hall is the perfect setting to cheers every bird bam and celebrate winning hands. Plus, my friends at My Fair Mahjong are the tile sponsors! You won't want to miss the opportunity to play on these gorgeous and colorful tiles that are sure to bring a smile.

If three hours of open play mahjong isn't enough to tempt you, there will be the opportunity to buy a souvenir joker for use during game play (limit one per person), a fabulous raffle, and light refreshments. Truly a fabulous evening!

While the Mahjong 101 lesson portion of the fundraiser taught by Troop Mahjong has already concluded, there are still limited event only tickets available for individuals and tables. This fundraiser is sure to be a marvelous time!
