Galentine's Mahjong Night with Troop Mahjong in San Antonio, TX

Two weeks ago I hosted the Troop Mahjong Galentine’s Open Play, and it was nothing short of magical! With a sold-out crowd of fabulous Mahjong-loving ladies, the energy in the room was electric, the laughter was contagious, and the camaraderie was unmatched. A Night of Tiles, Friendship, and Fun

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just any game night. Decked out in pinks, reds, and all the festive Galentine’s vibes, our troop of Mahjong enthusiasts was ready to mix, mingle, and mahj! Whether seasoned players or new to the game, everyone found a welcoming table and jumped right in.

 

The Mahjong Magic

The tiles clicked non-stop as games unfolded with thrilling wins, close calls, and plenty of “One away!”moments. Players cheered each other on, strategized over Charleston swaps, and celebrated the joy of Mahjong in a relaxed and fun setting. The open play format allowed everyone to meet new friends, sharpen their skills, and enjoy the game at their own pace.

Prizes, Pretty Tables, and Treats

No Galentine’s event is complete without a little sparkle! Our tables were set with vintage china, festive decor, and sweet treats, making every moment feel special. And, of course, we had some fabulous prizes for lucky winners—including Mahjong goodies, event tickets, and more!

The overwhelming response to this event was heartwarming, and I’m so grateful for this growing Troop Mahjong community of amazing women. Seeing you all come together, bond over this beloved game, and create new friendships is exactly why I host these gatherings. It is also so much fun to award my Troop Mahjong Merit Stickers to everyone!
