Backyard Fun with Walmart

Like Nelly once said “It’s getting hot in here” and that is exactly what can be said about the summer heat!

I live in Texas and the summer temperatures are heating up and its only June, not to mention gas prices are high, which leaves me for little motivation to drive across town and be social. So, if you’re like me, and looking for more way to stay home and have fun, than this roundup is for you! I have gathered some of my favorite backyard summer essentials, all of which can be purchased from Walmart.

I have recently been working on our backyard and patio. I have been trying to make it a fun space for us to entertain our friends and a nice place for us to drink wine and hangout with our dog. I have also been planting and growing vines up our trellis wall. It has been a labor of love, but so worth it!

Here are some fun items to add to your backyard, most a under $100 and would even make a great gift! I selected these games and thought they would be perfect to play with friends and family. You can click on the items to purchase them directly, or you can browse these items and more HERE.

If you are looking for some outdoor essentials like a new patio set or an inflatable pool, then you will love these items! I am OBSESSED with this chair, it is a collapsable rocking chair that also converts to a regular chair. It is perfect for watching kids play sports, watching your pets run around the yard, or watering the grass.

Do you remember when you and your classmates would sign each others yearbook, and you would write “Stay Cool!” I used to think that was simply a credit to my likable character and popularity, but now as I have gotten older if someone were to end our convention as “Stay Cool” I wouldn’t take it as compliment, but rather a warning from this blistering heat. Ah how things change.

So from me to you, Stay Cool!
